Tamara Brooks - Partner

Tamara is a seasoned design and marketing professional, with 12 years experience in the design and branding industry managing a range of strategic design, branding and communications services. She was one of the first graduates of the York University / Sheridan College honors design program and currently sits as Membership Chair on the prestigious Vancouver Entrepreneurs Organization Accelerator chapter.
Brenda Cadman - Partner

Brenda brings a level of detail-oriented organization to business that you could only expect from a former professional organizer. 13 years of administrative, project coordination and organizational experience as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University, enables her to assist companies with developing online marketing plans that aid business exposure and growth. Brenda currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Keall Foundation.
Steve Walker - Business Development

A Law graduate, Steve has a wealth of international experience, working with major software technology companies. He has served on the board of a number of public companies as Chief Executive Officer and has successfully fulfilled senior management roles as President, Sales and Marketing Director, Operations Director and Technical Support Director. Steve has a real passion for developing great business relationships with clients, partners and colleagues where openness, teamwork and integrity are of paramount importance.

Catherine, Administrative & Marketing Assistant

Catherine holds a Diploma of Technology from BCIT and has graduated from the institute's Marketing Management program, specializing in Business Communications. Much of her experience lies in developing integrated marketing campaigns, event planning and promotions, as well as market research. Catherine provides October 17 Media with administrative and marketing assistance in the areas of online marketing and client management.
Justine, Account Management

Originally from Oakville, Ontario Justine made the jump to the west coast to attend Emily Carr Institute where she studied Fine Arts. She assists October 17 Media with project management, ensuring client and team satisfaction. She manages daily client interaction and ensures that our online marketing campaign projects stay on track, on time, and on budget.
Zoe, Administrative & Marketing Assistant

Zoe helps October 17 management as a part-time administrative and marketing assistant, and is currently a Marketing Management student at Kwantlen University. She has a passion for individualized branding techniques and logo design, and is currently learning the ropes to become a successful web designer.

Carley, Paid Search Advertising Specialist

Carley brings to the team more than 12 years marketing experience, including more than 4 years in online marketing with an expertise in Paid Placement advertising, copywriting, and SEO. Carley has also worked in sectors such as real estate, retail, and food and beverage, specializing advertising, public relations and human resources.
Lindsay, SEO & Paid Search Advertising Specialist

Lindsay has worked as a search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and internet business consultant for over 7 years. She has a certificate in Marketing & Communications Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology as well as a Diploma in Design from the Art Institute of Vancouver.
Scott, SEO & Paid Search Advertising Specialist

Scott is an Internet Marketing Specialist with over 10 years of SEO/SEM experience and 6 years of PPC Management experience. He has helped market dozens of small and mid-sized online businesses as well as Fortune 100 companies like Pfizer, Wachovia Securities, Bell Canada and the Canadian Federal Government.

Johanna, Web Designer

Johanna is a world class web designer with over 7 years experience. She excels at creating clean and fresh designs that accentuate each client's individual branding strategy. After two years as lead designer for a world renowned stock photo agency, Shutterstock.com, Johanna has gone on to a successful career as a freelance web designer.
Stacey, Web & CSS Developer

Stacey is a certified web technologist working out of Richmond, BC. She has been developing websites since 1997 and is an expert in creating maintainable (X)HTML and CSS driven websites. Stacey is also an advocate for such web principles as accessibility, valid and semantic markup and SEO and has written articles on the subject of web development.
