The Opportunity
We are always looking for freelance web developers who are accountable and strictly adhere to their timelines. You must create W3C compliant, semantic & valid markup and have a good working knowledge of how to take PSDs to full working sites. Please send an email that includes your hourly rate and a link to your online portfolio.
Potential candidates must reside in Canada, and must speak and write English fluently. Position is remote (i.e. work from your own home).
About You
- Able to write W3C compliant, semantic & valid markup & CSS.
- Excellent communication skills, telephone, email, networking.
- Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.
- Highly attentive to detail.
- The ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
- Some basic or intermediate PHP knowledge is an asset.
- Knowledge of the jQuery framework is an asset.
- Experience with common content management systems and creating themes for these platforms (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Textpattern, etc.) is an asset.
- Some design capabilities is an asset.
Compensation Rate
